How do I install my eSIM?
After purchase, you'll get an email with a QR code. Open it on a second screen (laptop, tablet, or another phone) and scan the QR with the camera of the phone you want to install the eSIM on. Your phone walks you through 2β3 confirmation taps. Total time: under 60 seconds.
When should I turn on the eSIM?
Install before you fly, but only switch the eSIM line on once you've landed. Most plans start counting validity the moment your phone first connects to a local network β not when you bought or installed it.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my normal number?
Yes. WhatsApp runs on internet, not on the cellular voice line. Keep your home SIM active (with data roaming OFF), let Uonfly handle the data, and your WhatsApp / iMessage / Signal stay tied to your home number.
What happens if my data runs out?
You go offline β no surprise bills, ever. Top up in one tap inside your account. We email you a warning at 80% usage so you can extend before that happens.
What if it doesn't work after I land?
Email hello@uonfly.com β average reply is under 3 hours. If we can't get you online within an hour of you reaching out, we refund the full plan, no questions.
Can I get a refund?
Yes β within 30 days, if the eSIM hasn't been used (no data consumed yet). If it didn't work for technical reasons, we refund regardless of usage. See our refund policy for the full breakdown.
Is hotspot / tethering supported?
Yes, on every plan. Speed and stability are the same as your phone connection. Share with laptops, tablets, or travel buddies.
Do I get a phone number?
No β Uonfly is data-only. You don't get a new number, and you don't need one. Your home number stays attached to your physical SIM, ready for SMS and calls.
