Cancellation & Right of Withdrawal
EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal on most online purchases. Here's how it applies (and doesn't apply) to digital eSIM plans.
Activated eSIMs waive the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered without a physical medium once performance has begun with your express consent.
By installing and activating your eSIM, you give that express consent and acknowledge you lose the 14-day withdrawal right. Unactivated eSIMs remain refundable for 30 days under our refund policy.
Right of withdrawal (when it applies)
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have 14 days from the day of purchase to cancel a Uonfly eSIM order — provided you have not yet activated the eSIM and no data has been consumed.
Reason isn't required. You don't owe us an explanation.
How to exercise your right
Use the model form below, or simply email hello@uonfly.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract, your name, and your order number.
Effect of withdrawal
Once we receive your withdrawal notice for an unactivated eSIM, we will refund the full purchase price within 14 days, using the same payment method you used. No fees.
Loss of withdrawal right
The 14-day right ends when you install and activate the eSIM (i.e., the digital content is delivered and performance begins). This is required by law (Art. 16(m) EU Directive 2011/83) for prepaid digital telecom services.
Our standard 30-day refund policy still applies for technical issues — see the Refund Policy.
Outside the EU
If you live outside the EU, EEA, or UK, your local consumer law applies. Our refund policy applies in any case.
